1、A BOY stole a lesson-book from one of his schoolfellows and took it home to his Mother. She not only abstained from beating him, but encouraged him. He next time stole a cloak and brought it to her, and she again commended him. The Youth, advanced to adulthood, proceeded to steal things of still greater value. At last he was caught in the very act, and having his hands bound behind him, was led away to the place of public execution. His Mother followed in the crowd and violently beat her breast in sorrow, whereupon the young man said, "I wish to say something to my Mother in her ear." She came close to him, and he quickly seized her ear with his teeth and bit it off. The Mother upbraided him as an unnatural child, whereon he replied, "Ah! if you had beaten me when I first stole and brought to you that lesson-book, I should not have come to this, nor have been thus led to a disgraceful death."

4、
With October on our doorsteps you know what that means. As well as Halloween making a speedy approach, the PSVR (formerly Project Morpheus) comes out on the 13th October and PlayStation's just released a list of games ahead of time.

That's the one major thing affecting so many potential players in that buying a VR headset on launch leaves you diving into a pool of murky water – you don't quite know what'll be waiting for you. With the Vive and Oculus things were a little different, especially with Oculus' press-released models (the DK1 and DK2), as they gave you the opportunity to try different things out. Their integration with Steam lets players explore and experience a variety of indie games ahead of time, but PlayStation have kept things fairly close to their chests.

According to roadtovr's article, PSVR exclusive titles can't be purchased just yet, but full games with VR experience can be pre-ordered and pre-loaded in time for launch day.So far, VR games on the EN-US PlayStation Store are:
EVE: ValkyrieBattlezoneHustle Kings VRRez InfiniteRIGS Mechanized Combat LeagueBatman: Arkham VRRise of the Tomb Raider's only VR-supported mission Blood Ties100ft Robot GolfDRIVECLUB VRPlayStation VR WorldsTumble VRUntil Dawn: Rush of BloodWayward SkyWithin
I wouldn't pass off the idea that it's an exhausted list. No doubt we'll be hearing more titles released in the coming weeks before launch.

3、
Framed hasn't been available for free since 2015, and with the sequel a week away, you can grab the original for that low price once again on iOS.

The noir puzzler followed a desperate pursuit through a cityscape of comic panels, challenging you to rearrange panels to help the story progress. Figuring out how to alter images, and the context of those images, to reach distant areas, evade police, or escape death, allowed for some clever puzzles and interesting storytelling.

Our review praised Framed as exploration of "the brilliantly simple idea that lies at the heart of everything it does", and "as fresh a puzzler as you're likely to find on the App Store". a testament to the game's unique concept and style.

You can download Framed on iPad and iPhone.

The trippy Game Boy-esque platformer 1-bit Ninja is getting a reboot this week, as a procedurally-generated endless runner.

1-bit Ninja Remix Rush is still only four colours, still only has two buttons, and is still about bouncing over enemies and chasms. But now, the stage design is randomly created.

Unlike most runners, death is not the only way to end your game. Remix Rush also has an ever-present ticking timer and it's game over if you run out of time. You'll have to collect bits to turn back the clock.

The game's out this week on January 8th, on iPhone and iPad.
