Lineweight is a stylishly presented text adventure that initially launched for Android last month on Google Play and Google Play Pass. Today it's arrived for iOS devices and if you're interested you can start playing it for free and pay for the rest if you're enjoying it.

Lineweight has been developed by Cipher Prime who you may know from their previous titles which include the likes of Fractal, Splice, Pulse, and Intake. They have described Lineweight as their tenth and final project.
Playing the place which did no form receive,

Telltale Games has announced that it will release a spin-off Walking Dead miniseries, featuring Michonne - the uber tough, katana-wielding bad ass from the comics and TV show.

It's part of a plan to bring the worlds of the comic and the game closer together. "There is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap," said series creator Robert Kirkman during a E3 live stream.

The game won't retell events of the comic. Instead, it will let you see what happened to Michonne between issues 126 and 139, when she wasn't around.

To get access to The Walking Dead: Michonne, you'll need to own at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two. The three-part series will come to iOS, and Android this autumn.

It seems that Nintendo Software Technology (NST) will be working on mobile games and apps in the future, if a recent jobs listing is anything to go by.

It's up on Nintendo of America's jobs website under the title of "Software Engineer II - Mobile Game Developer."

The listing says that the applicant will need a working knowledge of iOS and Android development.

The reason for this being that they'll be responsible for "developing games and applications using cross platform web technologies."

What does this mean? It could be that the job will involve working on the five mobile games Nintendo plans to have out by March 2017.

But it could just as easily mean they're working on the upcoming Nintendo NX. How? Well, Nintendo has said that with the NX it plans to bridge the gap between mobile, consoles, and PCs.

Another thing to keep in mind regarding this job listing is that it's for a position at NST.

It's an internal studio at Nintendo of America that has previously made cross-platform HTML5 apps such as Wii Street U and games such as Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.

With that experience, you'd think that NST is a good fit to work on more mobile-related projects that Nintendo has planned for the future.
BitParade
Square Enix has opened up pre-registrations for upcoming RPG Mobius Final Fantasy in Japan. Nothing to get excited about over here, you may think, but you'd be wrong.

What is worth us paying attention to are the rewards given to those who pre-register. Yes indeed.

Firstly, those who pre-register can get hold of the Brotherhood sword early on. It's the one that looks like it's made of water and that is wielded by Tidus in Final Fantasy X.

The only downfall is that it's only available to the Warrior class in Mobius Final Fantasy. However, if you do wield it, its auto ability is a deathblow that, when charged up, obliterates everything. So that's good.

Those who pre-register also get an Elixir. It restores all of a character's stamina when consumed. So it's alright, I guess. But only alright.

Mobius Final Fantasy is due out in Japan on iOS and Android this spring. We're hoping it comes west at some point but there are no details as to whether that's happening or not yet.
4Gamer
